Couples Counseling

Our intimate relationships can be the source of our greatest joy and the space in which we confront our deepest fears and vulnerabilities.

Along the way, couples experience relationship challenges and conflict. Couples counseling may be sought when struggling with conflict, a disruptive event, or after long periods of distress. Couples often arrive at therapy when they have become disconnected from one another, and their relationship no longer feels like a safe nurturing space.

I help couples develop a self-awareness of recurring destructive patterns, reconnect with one another, strengthen their relationship, and heal from emotional pain. In couples therapy, I can help you change patterns of unhealthy communication and chronic conflict/tension, navigate infidelity, increase intimacy, trust, and help you reconnect with your partner.

Life Coaching

What is Life Coaching?
Life coaching focuses on establishing goals, creating outcomes, and managing personal change. It is profoundly different from therapy, consulting, mentoring, or advice. The coaching process addresses specific transitions in your personal life, relationships or profession. It will assist you in discovering obstacles and choosing a course of action for success.

How is coaching different from Therapy?
Therapy deals with healing pain, dysfunction, and conflict within an individual or in relationships. The focus is often on resolving difficulties arising from the past that hamper an individual’s emotional functioning in the present. As a result, therapy improves overall psychological functioning and emotional health.

Coaching on the other hand, is future focused, and supports personal and professional growth based on self-initiated change in pursuit of specific actionable outcomes. These outcomes are linked to personal or professional success. While positive emotions may be a natural outcome of coaching, the primary focus is on creating strategies for achieving specific goals in one’s work or personal life. The coaching relationship focuses on action, accountability, and success.

This one time session will provide you the opportunity to explore if coaching is right for you.

4 weeks
One hour initial coaching session & two 30 minute sessions*
If you have an idea of what your goals are, and need some support to organize your thoughts and your plans without requiring much support this package is ideal for you in accomplishing your short-term goals.

6 weeks
One hour initial coaching session & five 30 minute sessions*
If you have an idea of what your goals are, and need some support to organize your thoughts and your plans with some support this package is ideal for you in accomplishing your short-term goals.

8 weeks
One hour initial coaching session & seven 30 minute sessions*
If you know you want a change in your life but are unclear as to how to formalize a goal, create a plan, and how to set that plan in motion, this package is ideal for you.

12 weeks
One hour initial coaching session & eleven 30 minute sessions*
This plan is ideal if you want to make a change in your life, formalize a goal, create a plan, and set the plan in motion. This package provides the most support to achieve your goals, and most importantly it includes email support (not coaching sessions) between sessions.

*All 30 minute sessions may be combined.
